Who are Ivy Blu?

Ivy Blu Weddings was created by Jenniffer and Helena, two friends who met through church. Having both worked in the creative-design and events industries for many years, we came together and combined our talent and skills to deliver beautiful, elegant and stylish weddings. We want to give you the time to enjoy this journey and to soak in every memorable moment of your special day. Based in the beautiful countryside of South Oxfordshire, we cover this county plus The Cotswolds, Home Counties and surrounding areas.

Jenniffer

I know double ’n’ double ‘f’, you can blame my mum for that!

Design and branding is my passion. It’s a part of who I am.

Originally from Peru where my love of weddings began, from working as an editor for a weddings magazine to pioneering the countries first ever bridal event in Lima. It was a huge success and is still running today. The creatives that we get to work with within the wedding industry are second to none and I love having them on the weddings we have the chance of creating.

Having designed and planned my own wedding, I know how important it is to create those little details that make your day unique and special.


Helena

(Pronounced Selena but with an H!).

Creating events has always been intertwined in my life. Naturally any social occasion I turn my hand to becomes an elaborate event. I am incredibly passionate about seeing the smallest of ideas unfolding before your eyes and turning them into a wonderful, well crafted event.

I have been involved in event planning for over 10 years throughout the UK. From orchestrating classical concerts for over 1000 guests to VIP drinks receptions for 500 to intimate celebration dinners to Christmas parties to wellbeing retreats.

I’m very much a people person and being involved with friends weddings over the years, I decided to retrain to become a wedding planner.

Weddings are a perfect combination of all the things I love: people, organisation, celebration, and FUN.

We’re here to make your vision a reality. As your personal wedding planners we’re here to work with you, whatever that looks like. We work with some of the industry’s best suppliers to ensure every detail is perfect, and we’ll have plenty of fun along the way!
